As the main gateway to Sumatra, Lampung has long served pretty well with its Bakauheni Harbor. Citizens from Java has gone back and forth so many times crossing with ferry service. Apparently, it's not enough. The province seems interested to lure beyond just transmigrants, but real tourists as well. And they did good. As young travelers from the capital has now take part in increasing the traffic, to visit this new pearl of Lampung called Pahawang.

Done with Ho Chi Minh City, Cambodia will mostly be on top of every tourists' next stop. Either Phnom Penh or straight to Siem Reap, every option is wide open and can be discovered from the tour services scattered within streets of Pham Ngu Lao. But get your eyes wide open as well, because your selected tour couldn't be as 'nice' as it may spark at their offices.

Bangkok is bad news, they said. The traffic, the nightlife, the money you would probably waste for shopping malls and souvenir markets, indeed, are bad news. But then when you arrive at Don Muang, you go up north instead crawl down south, and decide to stay at your friend's dorm on the university complex, you'll have a whole different set of story. And less of a "bad news".

Okay so Manhattan's Fifth Avenue, yes it's the world's most expensive shopping street in the entire universe. And overall's living expenses there, could cost a fortune. But it's not like you're going to stay forever in New York -although if you do, that'll be awesome. And if you're planning to stay for up to one week in The Big City, congratulations, you're legitimate to benefit some useful tricks of living modest life as a temporary New Yorker.

Someone once said, you're not considered visiting Philippines, if you don't eat at Jollybee. Well that's easy. And doesn't sound about right. Because you are totally not considered visiting Philippines, ONLY IF you never take a jeepney. Now this could be a challenge. Because jeepney's so local. It's cruising along Philippines' infamous roads, taking all kinds of Filipinos. Riding a jeepney, well, obviously there's an art and skill for that.

First thing comes to Indonesians' mind, when name Hong Kong is mentioned, can and will always be 'shopping'. The city has never stopped being associated with malls, credit cards and retail therapy. These people just don't know that Hong Kong is blessed nature-wise with hills, flying kites and natural therapy. Name "Pearl of the Orient" came with a reason, don't you think?
